Statistics Update — Resisting Crime

So, guncite is awesome.  I stole the following table from them — I am putting this in a separate new post because it is a little more confusing than the bar graph from the previous post….

Basically, the table tells you the probabilities, during a crime, that you will suffer an injury depending on the strategy you use to interact with your assalient.  Fun stats, but, they are missing the level of injury sustained.  If I cooperate with a robber and there is a 12% chance of me getting beaten within an inch of my life, but, if I pull a knife and there is a 50% chance I will receive some scratches…. well.. I kinda wanna know that!

Also, these stats are a few years old and are probably nation wide…  Gang-run terrotories probably have a different set of rules.

  1. I think the statistics indicating that single digit loss when attacking with a firearm vs. double digit loss with any other method speak for themselves.
