Guns I want to shoot – HERA ARMS Glock Conversion

Yet another entry into the category of “if it is fun it is probably illegal in California” … Enter the HERA ARMS Glock Conversion kit.

HERA ARMS Conversion kit

This unique shaft system is for Glock pistol models 17, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32: A simple assembly through utilization of the available front Picatinny rail as well as the included front rail locking bolt. Included is an ambidextrous charging handle which gives the possibility of assembly to both right and left handed firers. The G.C.C. has a super ergonomic design and allows the possibility to mount a front fore-grip, lamps, lasers and iron sights to the additional Picatinny rails. All models come with a cheek rest that is made of a high quality neoprene rubber for extra comfort.

The is not the first entry into the Glock Carbine conversion territory.  For a long time Mech-Tech has had a carbine conversion kit for the Glock.  Yes, the Mech-Tech kit is illegal in California too.  The Mech-Tech kit is fairly well reviewed, but it seems its grease gun like aesthetics keeps it from winning much favor among those outside of California who can purchase real pistol caliber carbines.  Perhaps the HERA ARMS conversion kit will change that once it’s released.
